Jessy Kular and Arun Bains
As the way we look at our lives changes, we often find that the simplest way of life is often thebest. A straightforward, easy, bold love with its own set of details and depth. Jessy Kular came to Chamee and Palak for her wedding lehenga after her sister had previously worn us for a function. Jessy was one for the classics - a radiant pink, high contrast, simple yet unique designs. Jessy and Arun wanted an elegant, colorful and minimalist feel to their wedding - with Jessy’s bridal lehenga playing up the shades of pastel and pink throughout the day. We loved designing the Zainab lehenga for her especially since Jessy wanted to change her blouse for the evening reception. Check out her wedding looks below!
How did you meet?
We are family friends and reconnected as adults.
How did you pick Chamee and Palak for your wedding?
Had a very clear idea of what I wanted and found a similar piece on your Instagram. Contacted Nikaza Asian Couture in London and Jasmine was incredible in styling and designing my dream lehenga by Chamee and Palak. Loved how easy it was to customize my bridal lehenga, it felt truly bespoke to me.
Tell us a little bit about your wedding! What were your favorite moments?
So many beautiful moments! I especially love the evening shots when Arun is in his tuxedo. We are so happy and relaxed. Our vision completely came to life. So grateful for our incredible suppliers!
How was your experience with Chamee and Palak?
Ordered my sister’s lehenga virtually with Chamee & Palak and it was the easiest process. So accommodating with customisation and easy to communicate with in a difficult time during lockdowns in the UK and India.
What were the design requirements you were looking for in your lehenga?
It had to be a pink lehenga! Chamee & Palak had the perfect shade of pink for our outdoor summer wedding. The V neck blouse style made me feel so regal and I equally loved the one shoulder blouse for our evening reception. Can’t get over how lightweight my lehenga was.
Totally twirl worthy!
